BRS-3000T ultralight gas burner

BRS-3000T is currently the world’s lightest and smallest gas burner. The burner is also highly popular among lightweight backpackers. It fits all standard camping gas cartridges. The burner is made of titanium and weighs only 26 g! It is so small that it fits easily in the palm of your hand.

Due to its small size and light weight, it’s easy to build an ultralight and extremely compact camping stove around the burner. The lightest and smallest option is to purchase a 750 ml titanium pot, which can hold a 100 g gas cartridge and a BRS-3000T gas burner, as well as items such as an EMO windshield. Also a box of matches, a sponge, and dish soap fits inside of this combination.

The combined weight of the BRS-3000T gas burner and 750 ml titanium pot and EMO -windscreen is only 160 g!

Things to consider in use

The BRS-3000T is an ultralight gas burner that should be handled with care. The burner lasts a long time under normal use, but for maximum longevity, follow these guidelines:

• Close the gas valve before attaching or detaching the burner from the gas canister.
• Make sure the burner threads onto the canister correctly; do not overtighten the burner.
• Use a maximum of 1000 g cooking pot (pot and contents combined)
• Using a windscreen increases the burner’s efficiency and reduces gas consumption. If using a windscreen, keep it at least 1-2 cm away from the cooking vessel to prevent the burner from overheating.
• Try to avoid using the burner continuously on low heat for more than 15 minutes and on high heat for more than 5 minutes (as the pot supports may get damaged).
• Allow the burner to cool down before touching it.
